TeRABIT Project: a leap forward for Italian research

In the article written for Agenda Digitale, Mauro Campanella, scientific coordinator of the TeRABIT project, presents the innovations and advantages of the project funded by the NRRP.

The project aims at supporting the technological and scientific development of the country, with particular attention to the valorization of the Sardinian territory and the formation of advanced technical skills.

TeRABIT has broad objectives and, once completed, will contribute to strengthening our country's position in the field of information and communication technologies, ensuring researchers rapid access to cutting-edge resources and global connectivity to collaborate and compete on an equal footing internationally. Targeted investments in southern Italy regions can also reduce geographical disparities in research access, ensuring our talents, including industrial innovation, operate across the national territory, helping to curb the phenomenon of "brain drain."
