MHPC Scholarships: collaboration opportunities with OGS's ECHO Research Group

In the context of the TeRABIT project, OGS (the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics) provides 4 scholarships to support MHPC students interested in a collaboration with the scientific institution for the next edition of MHPC (2024-2025),

The Dynamics of Ecosystems and Computational Oceanography (ECHO) research group of OGS proposes 4 scholarships for students of the MHPC master interested in the development, modernization, optimization and/or GPU porting of scientific open-source codes for Computational Fluid Dynamics in marine environment, biogeochemical transport-reaction, pollutants and Lagrangian transport models.

The collaboration entails working with the Dynamics of Ecosystems and Computational Oceanography (ECHO) research group. The duration of the collaboration typically spans between 6 to 8 months for thesis projects, with the possibility of longer-term perspectives.

Projects are funded through the utilization of federated services under development within the PNRR project TeRABIT (Terabit Network for Research and Academic Big Data in Italy), covering the entirety of the MHPC fee.

The deadline for the applications is set to May 15,2024 at 11:59 AM.
